As always, I ask about dyed or color enhancements before I purchase. I don't like dyed Stones, and, in particular, Lapis Lazuli where the markets are saturated with so-called 'Natural' Beads that are dyed. Here is my question and my suppliers answer:
Are these dyed, treated or enhanced in any way?
No they are 100% natural untreated unheated.
To his credit, on other Lapis inquries, he indicated that the Beads, although marketed as 'Natural', were dyed and/or color enhanced. I didn't purchase those beads. Saying it is one thing. In writing is quite another. Again, I encourage all Bead Buyers to ASK BEFORE YOU BUY. Get it in writing.
