This backpack features two expandable pockets along the front which easily close with silver snaps. The back side of the pack is lightly padded & quilted, and includes a large, zippered compartment on the inside along the front. The straps, red duck canvas, are fully adjustable, and should fit almost anybody. There are also two narrow pockets along the sides that would work great for bike tools or pens (see 2nd picture.)
The pack has oil-tanned leather details on the handle and front straps, and can withstand years of use.
Waxed canvas has MANY great qualities. It wears beautifully, much like fine leather, it's basically waterproof, and it's virtually indestructible. It never needs washing aside from a occasional swipe with a damp cloth.
