Asterion is a star which along with a nearby star Cor Caroli form the "southern dog" constellation. In ancient Chinese astrology the star is known as the Fourth Star of Imperial Guards.

Because of its solar-type properties, it has been listed among the most astrobiologically interesting stars within 10 parsecs of the Sun- that is, good places to find extraterrestrial life forms.

All my work is made from recycled, reclaimed, vintage, antique and salvaged material- as little as possible is new. I use new wire and findings (for hygiene purposes) and the occasional new bought crystal, which I try to source responsibly. Every piece is one of a kind.
