This 18" by 36.5" table runner was made with an assortment of pink and green cotton fabrics that were cut into 1.5" strips or "logs" and joined together in 12 traditional log cabin blocks. These blocks were joined together into a rectangular "barn raising" design. A rose colored solid cotton was used for the narrow inner border and a large scale floral in pinks and greens on a beige background was used for the wider outer border.
The quilt was backed with unbleached cotton muslin, was filled with Warm and Natural cotton batting, and quilted with a pale green cotton thread. The green speckled cotton binding was sewn by machine to the front of the quilt and then stitched by hand to the back.
