It is a US size 5.5- 6..
This ring was inspired by tribal fabrics and designs from Northern Africa. I love the way they often incorporate vibrant golds with their color palettes. The ring is domed copper onto which red and black enamels were fired. Enamel is a glass powder that is fired in a kiln at 1500 degrees and permanently fused to the metal. The 24 kt gold is powdered gold in an oil suspension that is fired as well and permanently bonded to the surface. It is not a paint or surface coating, it is pure gold that will not come off.
After the enamel piece was made, I constructed a setting for it from sterling silver and 18 kt gold. The piece was made of raw materials by me in my studio- no parts have been purchased or pre-fabricated. The enamel is bezel set and then the silver oxidized black for extra drama- it sure makes that gold pop!
Flat topped rings like these (see 3rd photo) fit a slightly wider range of sizes. This ring will comfortably fit a US size 5 1/2- 6.
