I can inscribe something simple on the back for no extra charge. This is a great way to let your guests know that you prefer that they don't wear shoes in your home. It is always a little awkward to tell someone to take their shoes off. Some people don't do it in their own home so they don't even think about it. This a fun way to get the message across. I design the word and then route the letters. The letters are painted black and the wood is wire brushed. So the piece is not sanded smooth but still is finished looking. It has a barn wood look. I then finish the wood with enamel.

This piece is flat on the back so it can hang on the wall. I have carved a notch in the back for hanging and Signed it Wiz as well. it's flat on the bottom so that it can stand on a shelf as well.

The sign measures 6"x 14" x 3/4". It can be put outside, but the sun and rain will weather the wood so that it will eventually turn gray. If hung inside, it will always look just like this.
