Spring Sprouts Large Pendant

Description

Spring has Sprung! Enamel on copper. The background is an opaque white and the "sprouts" are opaque shades of spring time green, each color fired separately. The enamel is high fired for a glossy finish and the back is counter enameled for durability. The pieces are created by sifting powdered glass in layers and firing the glass till it fuses for each color. This is glass on metal, and although not incredibly fragile, it does need to be handled with care like your other hand crafted jewelry! Appx. 2'' in diameter, this is a large pendant. Due to the nature of enameling, no two are alike, and some variations in pattern or sifting can be found. Sterling silver bale, chain and clasp. The chain is appx. 16" and has a textured finish. The copper edges are hand polished for a nice luster, and polish cloth and care instruction are included.
