I hand cut 37 pieces of glass to make this frame. 4 different kinds of glass were used, 3 greens and 1 clear. The clear glass is in the center to cover the photo you add. The pieces were assembled using the Tiffany method. U channel zinc is attached to the back of the frame to hold a cardboard easel back. The frame can stand or hang on a wall when in portrait mode. It can easily be turned and used in landscape mode. It can sit anywhere you like in landscape mode. The finished frame measures 5 3/4" wide x 7 3/4" tall and designed to hold a 4 x 6 photo. With the colors and style of this frame, it could easily be used year round.
I have other frames at Hobbymakers' shop, as well as, stained glass night lights. James' woodcrafts include game boards and jewelry boxes. I've started adding our son's beautiful nature photography and some vintage handmade items to our shop. I hope you take time to see everything, and come back often. We add new items to both our shops often. Thanks for visiting us.
