This selection is titled: HOT AIR BALLOONS. Block of 4 stamps with Hot Air Balloons on them. Two of the stamps depict a sky full of colorful hot air balloons. The other 2 stamps show the historic balloon INTREPID which was used by Union Troops during the Civil War for aerial reconnaissance. The other is the historic Explorer II launched in 1936 which set the manned flight altitude record.

Use if you find you need to pay for some additional postage on your letter or invitation. Or add them to modern postage to give your letter the look you can only get with Vintage postage stamps. All of the stamps in my listings are valid to use as postage on current mail
