A very pretty tumbler. First, I mixed up a batch of "Pioneer" stoneware clay body. Then, the cup was thrown and side fired in a Anagama style wood kiln. Wanting more, I re-fired the cup a second time on it's side in a salt kiln. The tumbler matured into a speckly, creamy, very pleasing, butter color. The three wad marks remain, with peachy colored halos around them. You can see some subtle flashing from the wood and salt atmospheres. Inside, there is a very smooth, light yellow glaze. The tumbler feels earthy and natural.

Food safe glazes, microwave safe, dishwasher safe.
