A little bit about this particular coat♥
I thought it would be kind of fun to make up a line of coats that kind of tell a story, so this is another of my "Storybook Coats"! I used to make and sell these coats in my first shop on Ney Alley in New Hope, Pa, all the way back in 1999. The main part of the coat is a vintage hippie india type cotton dress. Then I pieced together all sorts of vintage silks and cottons and quaker lace to make the skirt. The sleeves are floor length.The sweep of the skirt is huge so you can twirl away in the woods with the fairies!
Here and there you'll find hanging ceramic peruvian beads. Please message me if you need more pics or any other info!
Measurements:
This coat has shoulder pads to give the cotton added strength in the shoulders because of the weight of the skirt.
Bust: (underarm to underarm) up to 18"
Shoulder - Shoulder: 14"
Sleeve length: 49.5"
Length: From shoulder to longest part of skirt: 56"
Waist: up to 17" (double for measurement)
Hips: free
