Our handcrafted oil lamps incorporate a classic incandescent light bulb in the design, and will add a modern, elegant and eco-friendly touch to your home. The handmade base for our Recycled Light Bulb Oil Lamp is created from a beautiful solid wood half dome.
All of our bases are handmade by us. Enjoy the unique illumination of our oil lamps which we handcraft using re-used incandescent light bulbs as the lamp. Each lamp base we create is unique and due to the handmade process, slight variations do occur, so you will receive a lamp with a half dome wood base that is very similar, but may not be the exact base shown in the photos.
The light bulb is a mini G16.5 incandescent light bulb which we convert into the beautiful candle oil lamp as shown. The base is varnished with a satin finish. On the bottom of each base we adhere a soft felt layer to protect your furniture.
The top with the wick already inserted (included) just needs to be placed in the lamp (instructions included), after filling with lamp oil (not included), place the lamp gently on the base, and then it is ready to illuminate your home. By using magnets to attach the lamp to the base, the lamp can be easily removed for cleaning, re-filling with lamp oil, and positioning as needed on the base.

Due to the delicate nature of our work, we carefully wrap and double box our Recycled Light Bulb Oil Lamps for shipment to you.
All of our oil lamps use 100% cotton wicks and will burn for approximately 5 hours on 2oz of traditional Liquid Paraffin lamp oil available at many stores. You have the option of using other more environmentally friendly oils in our Recycled Light Bulb Oil Lamps, provided they are approved for oil lamp use. We have used the Danish Clean Green Oil with success.
We recommend NOT USING kerosene in our Recycled Light Bulb Oil Lamps.
