This is a beautiful handmade off white coat and bonnet set with fur trim from the 1950s. The coat has a large round fur collar and amazing mother of pearl decorative buttons down the front to fasten the coat closed. The coat has an ivory satin quilted lining and a small pocket on the right inside of the coat that has the name "Susan" embroidered in pink thread on it. The matching bonnet has fur trim and is also lined with ivory satin fabric. Also, on the inside back portion of the bonnet are three embroidered flowers: Two are pink and one is blue. There are two narrow satin ribbons to fasten the bonnet under your little one's chin. This coat is approximately size 2T however, please see measurements below for correct fit.

There is a tiny wear spot on the upper right side of the coat that is the size of the tip of a pin and is virtually invisible. Also, the lining has some faint stains that I was not able to remove with dry cleaning. These stains are only on the inside of the coat and cannot be seen when the coat is worn. One of the satin ribbons used to fasten the bonnet under the chin is slightly longer than the other. This may have been by design or it could be that one of the ribbon's tore off at some point. However, both ribbons are still long enough to fasten the bonnet under the chin. This coat has real fur trim (I believe that it is rabbit) on the collar and on the brim of the bonnet.
