I like the notion of someone's inner nature being illustrated across their heart, perhaps unwittingly. The companion piece is called Wolf Hearted - I'm not sure if they are friends or foes.
Specifics:
-The painting is created in acrylic on a beautifully crafted cradled hardwood panel (if you are unfamiliar with the cradled panels, see the last image.)
-The panel measures 11"x14", and is 2" thick, which means it is raised nicely off of the wall or hanging surface.
-The sides and corners are sanded smooth, painted matte black and very lightly distressed for a warm, slightly worn look.
-These panels can be hung from a single screw or nail, making them extremely easy to hang.
-Signed in the bottom right corner.
