I've been playing with this idea for quite a while, and now I've finally got something finished to show you. These flags started off as plain white fabric, which I painted and stamped with heavily pigmented acrylic paint. Many months of exposure in the Art To Go High UV Extreme Weather Testing Facility (aka my back yard) have shown that these beauties can handle the sun and wind. To look their best, they need to be in the sun! When back lit, the paint just glows, and when the sun hits the clear glitter on the front side, they- glitter!!
The 10 flags, 4 inches wide and from 10 to 15 inches long, are strung, and not sewn to nylon cord, so they can really swing in the breeze. I gave them a swoopy bottom edge, so they'd look like they're dancing, even when there isn't any wind. This set of flags is 40 inches long, not including lots of cord on each end for tying.
These flags ship free in the US.
