A very unique ring! For years, I have had several 12mm quartz stones that I had no idea what to do with. I love the magnifying quality of the stone, but if water seeps under the bezel, it can leave water marks. This ring takes both things into consideration! My main inspiration for the ring was Queen Anne style architecture, although the finished product does not really reflect it.
The quartz stone is floating in the bezel. If you view it from the side, you can even see the bottom of the stone. Because the quartz is so clear and magnifies everything beneath it, I decided to take advantage of that and give you something to look at. Underneath the stone is a 3mm amethyst with a decorative border. Because of the magnigfying properties of the quartz, the amethyst looks to be an 8mm stone from the top. It's kind of a little kaleidoscope for your finger! The amethyst is not touching the quartz. They are separated by about 1.5mm of space. When the light shines in just right, you can see a bright purple flash. It's very interesting to look at, but very hard to photograph.
Please leave your ring size in the notes to seller.
I can also make this ring with just about any stone you like in place of the amethyst. Please convo me before purchase to check availability.
Thank you, and let me know if you have any questions!
