This little sliver of a blue crescent moon is just for you! The star is embossed with fanciful script.
The moon is solid copper made from kiln-fired Copprclay metal clay (similar to PMC). The moon is enameled in tranparent teal and the tiny circle at the top in opaque turquoise. The star is bare copper. I left firing oxidation the the script to make it stand out.
It is approximately 1-3/4" tall and comes with a 36" piece of Greek leather cord that you can tie as you see fit.
The enamel is vitreous - it is powdered glass that is kiln-fired until it melts, flows, and then hardens to a smooth, durable coating on the metal. All of the enamels I use are lead free.
This little necklace is handmade and one of a kind. I hope you love it as much as I do!
As the enamel truly is a layer of glass it will crack if bent, dropped or crushed. So please handle with care.
