Another piece that you do not often have the pleasure to own, this decadent late Flapper evening gown is GORGEOUS with early Greta Garbo and Harlow era styling including fluid body hugging revival sculpting to the hips bust, bias shaping, and rear plunge back decadent rear fish tail train. This gown is flame gold lame and still retains its sparkle with very mild patina, it really is a magnificent example and definately red carpet worthy. Condition - beautiful for its age, there is wear to the edge of underarm fabric but as there is so much excess lame underneath these could easily be remedied by a professional, the lame is strong rich and gorgeous and the silk is amazingly vibrant and in excellent condition I only found one area to the hem where it looks like it had been stepped on with a heel and has an area missing. This could easily be remedied by taking up the hem which would benefit the gown anyway. I also notied a patina area to lame at the bottom front which does not penetrate the rear of the lame. None of these condition issues detract from the overall magnificence of this gown and its wearability. A very wearable and divine dress made from a rare shade of era lame. The rhinestone clip and flapper belt are not included, Measures bust 40 inches, drop waist 38 inches, hips 40 inches and length 64 inches.
