Look, it's an amigurumi spring onion!
A brand new pattern for our play kitchen / toy food series.
Let your kids get to know several vegetables in a playful and funny way with this crochet scallion, or crochet a couple shallots to decorate your kitchen with. The possibilities are endless. :)
Needed to make this crochet pattern:
- left over yarns. You really don't need a lot of yarn to make this spring onion.
- a 2.5mm crochet needle, if you want the scallion to be the same size as pictured. (Almost 2 inch / 5 centimeters at the widest point, and 12 inch / 30 centimeters tall.)
- a very little bit of filling material, can be a left over as well.
Needed skills to make the pattern:
- Magic ring
- Increasing and decreasing stitches
- Chain stitches
- Slip stitches (UK: single crochet)
- Single crochet (UK: double crochet)
- Double crochet (UK: treble crochet)
No sewing skills required!
The pattern is written using UK and USA crochet terms, with full sentences.There are no abbreviations used. Also, there are no sewing skills required to make this pattern.
Skill level: easy.
There are a lot of detailed pictures included to guide you through the pattern.
