This pretty scarf features interlocking lace hearts. The hearts are knit from the top-down and are completed at the end of the scarf.
It is a fairly easy lace project - and could be a good way to start knitting lace.
The pattern is written for 8 ply (DK) yarn and uses US # 7 (4.50mm) needles. You will need approximately 435 yards (400 metres) of yarn.
It has written instructions and charts for the lace hearts. The pattern is written using British knitting terms, any American knitting terms that are different are also supplied.
Finished size: Approximately 8 1/2" (21cm) wide and 70" (180cm) long.
