For me - the painting "Expectation" by Gustav Klimt is a continuation of the series of dresses based on Klimt's paintings.
"Expectation" is a mature work of a great artist. His works dipicts flat forms, rhythmical lines and ornamentalism. "Particular" attribute of his painting is a realistic depiction of faces and hands in combination with rather notation "ornamental" pattern of the background.
One of the Klimt's contemporaries wrote, that when he looked at the picture "Expectation" - the one outstanding effect came, which was a characteristic of Klimt's works. His works as though enchanting the spectator, plunging into the world of sensuality. But Klimt by himself looked like awkward simpleton. But his hands could turn women into the crecious orchids, comming from the depth of elfin dream.
The dress "Expectation" by Klimt was made on the base of french dress, made of woolen knitwear with cashmere. The quality of speciality says by itself. Delicate wool makes the dress warm and brings that exquisite glamor of any cashmere cloth. The dress is very spruce, but you can wear it with any casual cloth. The decor of dress is made on organic silk of excellent quality using the technique of cold batik with professional paintings which are sun an wash-proof. Also, the dress "Expectation" is decorated by the organic wool. When you put on the dress "Expectation" by Klimt you feel that you are the very same orchid from the elfin dream. And you feel like you are comming into that remarkable epoch of "golden age" where ladies and gentlemen drew out for balls in carriages with white horses.
Care instruction
Wool is a unique organic fiber and self-rejects dirt and water. It protects against the cold, but also acts as a heat insulator when necessary.
Felt does not require frequent washing, and just needs aired after each use in damp air as adequate. However, if necessary, you can wash it. For the long lasting quality of the felt we recommend a gentle hand wash at 30C (86F) with special liquid detergent.
Shape the product when damp and let it dry on a flat surface. Do not use a dryer.
Wool and silk are intolerant to bleaching.
Iron at 150°C, placing a damp cloth between the felt product and the iron.
