Wonderful Antique and RE-PURPOSED Chicago Window with handmade stained glass insert. Vibrant strips of color stained glass of varying sizes. This is a very well preserved window with a fresh coat of tan paint to match the previous paint color. The original window lock and window handle remain on the frame. This has so many uses. This can hang in the porch, between rooms, outdoors but out of the rain, in a sunny window, or even on the wall to mimick a window.
I made the window look as if there were 3 panes of glass as opposed to just one. Brilliant spring colors were chosen. Pinks, Greens, Blues, Purples, Yellows. There is alot of texture to admire as well. Much of the glass used is actual art glass which is hand rolled as opposed to machine rolled.
Stunning. These make fabulous gifts!! A black patina was applied as well as a rich wax to keep this window shining for a long time and helps repel dust.
