The Flame Feather Headdress sits regally atop your head, catching everyone's eye wherever you go. The feathers plume out like a traditional headdress and cascade upon your shoulders. It has two complete layers of very long, velvety, iridescent black rooster tail feathers (**iridescence can make the black, iridescent black rooster feathers look dark jade green and even cobalt blue in certain lights!!). Secured with bobby pins, it is made to sit lightly and easily while you dance, perform and play. But keep in mind, feathers are natural and so need to be treated and kept with care.
Each feather is hand pieced and secured onto a signed leather backing and attached to a length of hand stitched gold, red & fiery orange trim. The band is adjustable with a small cord stop at the nape of the neck.
The Flame Feather Headdress comes carefully wrapped in its own large, special box for transport & storage between events.

I use USPS Priority Mail, unless requested otherwise. I will provide a Tracking Number for you and Shipping Insurance. I now insist that all my headdresses are mailed with Shipping Insurance.

I now insist that all purchases from me have Shipping Insurance. The charge for this service is now built into the shipping price on orders within the US. It might seem a bit high, but it is WELL worth the peace of mind. What you purchase from me is a highly valuable, one-of-a-kind original piece of art. It deserves to be insured against loss, theft or damage during shipment.
International Shipping:
International Shipping is via USPS International Shipping with Tracking Number & Shipping Insurance
Because I care greatly about the delivery of your headdress, I ship via USPS Priority International with Tracking and Shipping Insurance, USPS International Express with Tracking and Shipping Insurance, or FedEx International with Tracking and Shipping Insurance on all international orders. The possibility of theft, damage, loss, or issues with Customs is not worth the risk.
If you wish to accept the risk and purchase USPS International First Class, there will not be Shipping Insurance or a Tracking Number, and I cannot be held responsible for theft, damage, loss, or issues with Customs, etc. USPS International First Class typically takes 10-30 business days to arrive. USPS International Priority Mail or FedEx International typically takes 5-10 business days to arrive. BUT I need to be messaged BEFORE purchase if you would like this option. I cannot change this option after purchase.
