Like molten lava or a golden orange summer sunset, these enticing dichroic glass earrings blaze with a fiery light. Orange and Gold blend in the ebbs and flow of the textured glass that lies beneath the top layer of clear glass. Add some heat to your jewelry collection! Lightweight and easy to wear.
Each of the earrings has been shaped into rectangles with a grinder for clean smooth edges. The dichroic is capped with a clear glass to create amazing depth and to enhance the sparkle and shine, not to mention the durability, of the underlying dichroic glass.
NOTE: The crinklized effect is enhanced in the photos due to the close-up shots, so the glass appears more fractured. The actual effect is more subtle.
MEASUREMENTS

The earrings each measure 13/16" (L) x 3/8" (W) or 2.1cm x 1.0cm, not including the attached sterling silver french ear wires. The total length with the wires is 1-1/2" or 3.8cm.

My pieces are fired to temperatures ranging from 1200-1500 degrees, depending on the look that I wish to achieve. Most pieces go through 2-3 firing phases, some even more. I follow proper annealing procedures (cooling of the glass) to ensure strength and durability, for years of beautiful wear.
All my pieces are as bright and colorful as depicted in the photos, but some monitors may display the colors as lighter or darker. In addition, photos cannot capture the true beauty of dichroic glass; most pieces will appear flat, when in fact they have tremendous depth, sparkle and shine.
