Measurements

Shoes are marked 7 1/2 AAAA indicating a narrow size. Will fit a US size 6 1/2 or 7 Please check measurements to ensure a proper fit. All measurements (except heel height and volume) are taken inside the shoe.

-9 7/8" insole (heel to toe)
-2 7/8" at ball of foot (widest point)
-1 7/8" heel width.
-4" heel height.
-5.75" volume or vamp
-.75" platform

(VOLUME: Using a flexible tape measure or piece of string, on one of your best fitting, similarly styled shoes, measure, with your foot in the shoe, from the welt stitch [where the sole is sewn to or attaches to the upper part of the shoe] on one side, up over the top of the foot to the opposite side at the welt stitch or attachment point of the sole to the upper. This measurement gives an idea of the “Volume” of your foot and the true size of it.)

Condition

Very Good condition rating an 8 out of 10. Minor wear consistent with age. Wear to suede on both heels. The heels on these were worn down below the leather taps and are now fresh from my shoe repair man. He reconstructed the heel, added new heels taps and even resealed the leather soles that he told me were still in very good condition. It will be like wearing new old shoes!

Recently a customer tried these on in my Vintage Emporium in Portland, Oregon. I noticed she was a bit wobbly and found one of the shanks was broken and it has since been professionally replaced.
