Pair of Vintage Thermos Camel Vacuum Flask made in Hong Kong

These are fabulous! The patina on these is incredibly gorgeous. Decals and embossed logos on both flasks.

These have NOTHING to do with the Camel Cigarette Company.
They were made by the "Wei Yit Vacuum Flask Manufactory which was founded in 1941 in Hong Kong by some local enthusiastic industrialists led by the Leung family. They adopted the logo "Camel" because of the animal's ability to sail though harsh conditions. The founders accepted that the company would have to do likewise throughout its development and adopted such a logo as inspiration."

An instant collection waiting to happen. These would make gorgeous ice buckets for your next party!

The Red Flask measures : 7.5" x 4.4" The green one : 8" X 5.

The interior are in fine shape. There is a bit of rust around the bottom rim of the green flask. One of the ornamental knobs is missing on the side of the green flask's handle. Please look at the pictures closely as they are the description for these items. These are used and have had quite a lot of wear, which is what gives them this unbelievable patina and vintage charm.
