Rare Allan Gould 1950's Modern Desk:

A very rare early 1950's desk designed by Allan Gould. It is made of painted steel and birch wood with a laminate top that looks like simulated slate. This is the only example of this desk I've seen. I purchased this desk from the original owner who was in her 90's and remembered the desk being by Gould. A great piece of early post war modernist design.

Measurements: 30" wide by 28.5" tall and 18" deep.

Condition: Good original vintage condition. There are a number of blemishes both nothing detracting. Black painted legs are flaking. Crayon and other small stains inside drawer. Feel free to email for more detailed photos.

Shipping: Local delivery available for a reasonable fee. Local pick-up also welcome. NO SHIPPING on this item due to it's size and weight. You are welcome to make your own arrangements for a freight carrier to transport the piece.
