This handcrafted Smug Mug is designed with its own personality that is sure to make you smile! This quirky creature is unique and completely hand-made-- thrown on the potter’s wheel, hand carved, glazed, and china painted. Smug Mugs are food safe and meant to be used, so drink up. They are made of porcelain and are dishwasher and microwave safe, although heating liquids in a separate container will extend the life and finish of the mug.

Materials: Porcelain, underglaze, glaze, and china paint
Process: Thrown and trimmed on the potter’s wheel using home-made porcelain, carved at the leather-hard stage, bisque fired to cone 010 (1640°F), underglazed and glazed, fired to cone 6 (2230°F), and china painted three to four times at cone 016 - 019 (1460°F - 1260°F).
