From the 1930s it is in fair antique condition (too good to be called a cutter). There are several small patches that are worn to the batting and a few faint marks that might shift. I have not washed it, but it is nice and fresh from being on the line in the Ontario wind, rain and sun for a few days. No holes right the way through, rips or major stains.
Would be perfect folded for display, or hung on a wall.....I fold mine over the banisters. It could also be mended with a bit of patience.
A lovely example of the depression era quilters style, workmanship and creativity.
