This is a beautiful 1940's ivory rayon velvet wedding gown. The long tapered sleeves end in points and are edged with plastic pearl beading and 8 self covered ball buttons. The same beading detail is also along the neckline.
The condition is not the best but perhaps with some clever alterations a new gown can be fashioned from it. I kept the condition in mind as I priced it. There are yards and yards of beautiful rayon velvet that can be used.
Please keep in mind that these are measurements taken when the garment is laid flat, please allow for some ease. Double measurements for bust, waist and hips.
Shoulder to Shoulder: 14"
Waist to Hem Front: 39"
Waist to Hem Back: 92"
Sleeve Length: 25"
Sadly this dress has a few issues. There are perspiration stains in the underarms.
there is a spot at the center front of the skirt where a spot cleaning was attempted.
the train of the gown has dust lines from dusting the floor.
