It's real ETCHED glass, not cream etched, but actually sand blasted using one of them giant cages. I feel like a mad scientist when I do it (because of the giant gloves you slip into, and the fact that you hold a blasting gun) so it's actually quite a bit of fun.
I included some really close up shots so you can get a better idea of the quality. It's very even, and has actual depth. You can FEEL the etching. Other than that, the picture pretty much tells it all.
