Laying the notes in a vertical design is not only visually unexpected - it has a practical advantage - allowing the shades to be hung as a pendant or flipped around and attached to lamps, giving you flexibility.

Patturn is about reclaiming vintage papers of bygone days and creating an "upcycled" alternative to regular fabric covered lamps shades. There is nothing quite like warm of glow a Patturn lamp and they look striking when switched off too.
Every lampshade is decoupaged by hand, signed & dated, so very unique & no two are exactly alike. I lacquer them to finish, for durability and stain resistance. (easily dry-dusted or cleaned with a damp cloth)
