We have handmade this wood compass from a down cedar tree branch. We lightly sanded the bark adding to the rustic charm of this unique piece. We have sanded the front and back super smooth and finished the wood with pure tung oil then buffed with carnauba wax for a super smooth finish and added durability. A single hole has been drilled and a suede cord has been attached.
The compass measures approximately 1-1/4 inches wide x 2-1/2 inches tall x 1-3/8 inches thick. Measurements are taken from widest points.
We take great pride in our craftsmanship. Each wood compass has been handmade with great care. We select unique pieces of wood and precisely drill a hole to set the 20mm liquid-filled compass down in the wood.
