From as early as I can remember my mother, a hippie at heart, would sing protest songs to us kids. For some reason she kept singing the protest song Eve of Destruction while cleaning the house, there may have been a message there...
Anyway, the sultry scent of dark patchouli reminds me of her.
Dark, earthy and mysterious Patchouli essential oil is used in this cold process soap. It's swirled with natural micas and also has a dusting of mica on top.
All my soap is 12% superfatted, including this Patchouli soap, which means that it will moisturize your skin, and the lather has been tested with hard desert water. My soap has been allowed to cure for at least 4 weeks to make it hard enough to last a long time, even with lots of use.
Handmade soap is like nothing else. It doesn't dry out your skin, smells wonderful and only contains ingredients that are good for you. Many of my local customers here in the desert say they no longer have to use lotion on their hands, even in winter, because my soap moisturizes their hands so much. Why not give it a try?
