I am not sure if this camera works, but I can't make the shutter work. It might just be stuck due to it's age. The flash seems be in very good shape, and I replaced the 2 AA batteries inside. I tested the flash with an AG-1 bulb and it did go off when I pressed the shutter! The light meter on top of the camera also appears to still work. This camera takes 127 film, which I believe you can still buy from special camera stores. This does not come with the manual, but it can be found below:

The Brownie Starmeter was one of a very successful range of "star" cameras made by Kodak in the early 1960s. A 127 camera in the Kodak Brownie Star series, made in the USA from April 1960 - November 1965. This version of the Star layout features a selenium exposure meter.
