The pre-washed socks are a good quality woven/knitted sock (78% cotton, 20% nylon, 2% spandex) that have a ribbed band that comes just past the ankle. Being black, no stains or "gray water" marks will show. A simple sun with wavy rays brightens each ankle; simple yet such a summer statement! Get them for yourself, if you like. My designs usually take a day to several to complete, depending on the detail. I lay down a basic pattern, making sure the paint will not later come off with normal wash & wear. Depending on layering and where wet parts might touch, I allow for dry time after each section is finished. Then, I go over the that basic pattern, again, to make sure the colors are true and bright, again allowing for dry time between each section.

Machine wash inside-out and hang dry or dry flat for your artistic footwear to last as long as possible. Each piece is an individual creation; there may be slight variations that make it a unique piece of artwork.
