Red stepstool for dollhouse miniatures

Miniature dollhouse red stepstool: Way back when I was a kid, both grandmothers had wooden stools like this, usually kept in the kitchen or on the utility porch. They used them to get to those high kitchen cabinets older houses had, where Granny stored the good china between holidays, or in the pantry to reach the upper shelves. When Granny wasn't on them, we kids used them to reach the things she had put up out of our reach! This country red adaptation of the stools I remember is about 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches high, with a hand hole in the top step. I have really aged this one to add the worn spots where so many people had hung the backs of their shoes, and generally worn the poor stool down. Every country, mid century or earlier house, needs a step stool, and they are also great for old time general stores, libraries, etc.
