It fits a small wrist. A hidden hinge makes putting it on more comfortable and easy.
As there are no sterling marks, it's definitely not sterling (otherwise I would sell it more expensive).
I'm pretty sure it's silver though, since the bangle is not magnetic and has got 'blackish' over the years (it hasn't been worn and cleaned for more than 30 years - if you wish you can polish it for a brilliant new look).
Whether it's 925 silver (like Bali silver which has no sterling marks either) I don't know. It could as well be Britannia silver (95,8% silver) or Hill Tribe silver (97 to 99% silver) or another kind of alloy with silver.
Anyhow, it's a fine piece of craftmanship. My mother bought it in a shop in Athens (Greece) somewhere in the seventies and was assured it's silver.
