I love breaking down old jewelry and rebuilding it so to speak. This rosary style necklace is made from the remains of six different colored vintage bead chains and comes together with a gorgeous antique image of Mary. I went against my own rule here with using all original images. My Mother had a beautiful collection of prayer cards that date back to the early 50s. The images are so bright and beautiful that I wanted to share them with others which is why I made copies of her cards. Still, no two pieces will be identical.
With no real front or back this necklace can fall either way and always be reveiling something beautiful. On the flip side of Mary, is a single pressed rose from my garden. It has been said that the aroma of roses means you are in the prescence of our Blessed Mother, something I personally have experienced and found to be truly amazing.
The pictures honestly do not do this necklace justice, it is a very strong piece that I'm sure you will absolutely fall in love with<3
Because I dig through vintage/antique stores, flea markets, and estate sales for all of my materials, I can promise you that none of my pieces will ever be duplicated, and truly are and always will be one of a kind. :)
Measurements:
The necklace measures an adjustable 21-23" inches. The Mary Pendant measures 1" by 2" not including the hand hammered scroll or dangle, and hangs from 2" of additional chain.
