This is a fun ring handmade from an antique sterling silver plated oyster fork. It is a big, bold, pointy ring. Fork rings are always my personal favorites. This isn't like your grandma's little spoon ring!

I make lots of assorted jewelry using all the odd pieces of silverware in my collection, but when I get a nice set like this, I keep them aside so I can offer up an excellent series of rings like those pictured here.

You will receive one fork ring of the same set, style, pattern and condition as those pictured in this listing. Yours may vary a bit, but not by very much. I try to take pictures from every angle so you can get a good look at any designs along the band. I usually make each somewhere around a US size 7ish. If you don't specify any particular size when ordering then that's what you'll get. The band on a these rings is often odd and variable, so sizes are a bit approximate. But I can easily adjust them as needed, just tell me what size you need in a convo or leave a note to seller when you check out and I'll get it as close as I can.

Since these are old antique silver-plated mini forks, each will bear the marks and scars of a previous useful existence. I take silverware that is more than a half century old, cut, shape, form and polish it so I can pull a beautiful ring out of a rough tarnished utensil. But I'm not perfect, and neither is my work. I wouldn't want it to be if I could. Expect the odd scratch, ding or dent. I call it character, I think it gives each piece a soul of its own. That's why I take lots of photos, so you know what to expect. Also expect this one to be a bit pointy, it is a fork afterall!

Silver plate has a tendency to become a bit tarnished over time. I kind of like the aged look myself, why try and "antique" them with paint when you can have actual antiques that look the part? Plate will get nice and shiny when you polish it, but like any silver, it's going to want to start to tarnish again. If you want them really nice and shiny, just hit 'em up with a polishing cloth occasionally, it's just simple maintenence, clean them like you would the rest of your everyday silverware.

But you'll find the more you wear them, the more they sort of stay naturally polished by rubbing up against your pockets and clothes throughout the day! Try it and see!

Shipping will be via USPS First Class, larger orders will be upgraded to Priority Mail depending on your combined order total and location. I generally visit the post office almost every day except weekends, so your order will be on the way as quickly as possible.

I have quite a number of different rings available, Just when I think I've seen every different piece of silverware I always find a new one, so be sure to check out all my new listings for the perfect piece to suit your tastes. I also have similar rings available in larger quantities at wholesale prices elsewhere in my shop. Be sure to take a peek at my other lisings of spoons, forks, handles.

Thanks for looking, and may the Forks be with you!
