Custom constructed with 95% repurposed, upcycled materials. Heavy weight, blue fabric is felted 100% blanket wool and the multicolored flowers are from a deconstructed, crocheted afghan. Each flower is trimmed with new black and white small checked piping giving it that fun whimsical look. The leaves and stems are finished off with green eco-felt. Everything has been hand cut and carefully top-stitched, solidly secured and great for everyday use. All materials have been sanitized and pre-washed so your pillow can easily be hand washed (inside out in cool water) at home too. Except for the zipper and the piping, all other materials have been refashioned from items long ago, forgotten in storage.
This pillow cover is actually slightly smaller than 14x18 inches so that the recommended 14x18 pillow insert (not included) creates a nice plump fill. Pillow cover is highly labor intensive and individually designed and fabricated. Due to the handmade, one of a kind nature of this item there will be slight variations in design, flower colors and placement of each item.
This pillow cover can be made with different colors of face fabric, red, blue, yellow or green blanket wool and slightly different flower colors. Shipping is slightly higher for these pillows due to the weight and extreme bulk...but definitely worth it!!!
