Art Deco necklace made completely of horn cut in geometric shapes. Bold and strong, tribal influenced piece. Circular stations are detailed with pale green grey line cuts. Each link is attached with small rings that are also made entirely from horn. The style of construction is very similar to the early plastics of the era (see below for a link*), down to the hook cut from the same material, though this one is entirely horn. Also brilliant worn reversed. In good condition, with very light signs of nicks and such. A very unusual and beautiful piece, this is the first one of its kind I've ever encountered.

Measuring from the interior : 23 inches long. Depth in front 2.25 inches.

Measuring from the interior : 58.5 cm long. Depth in front 57 mm.

*Here's an example of an early plastic necklace, in the same style of construction. All shapes cut from slabs, including the hook closure, then attached with rings http://www.etsy.com/listing/88755452/art-deco-celluloid-necklace-scene-with
