Walnut and Maple Chess Board, Handmade Solid Wood

This is a game board for chess and checkers made from solid black walnut and hard maple with a hand rubbed tung oil finish. Like all Martin Thaller Design pieces, it is individually hand made from locally grown hardwoods, and is built to the highest standards using traditional techniques and joinery. It is an original piece which has been designed and signed by it's creator. The dimensions are 19" x 19" x 2 3/4" and the individual playing squares are 2" x 2". It is fitted with non marring plastic feet on the underneath.
