The wonderfully made summertime rockabilly dress is comprised of a medium weight cotton with checkered plaid pattern of red stripes over a bright white ground.
It has a rounded collar, short softly puffed sleeves with bow tie ends, self covered buttons, a slenderizing fitted bodice with nipped waist, hidden metal side zipper, and full skirt with soft pleating in front.
The dress also has it’s original belt with bright red plastic buckle, and an embroidered label for “It’s a Dan River Famous Designer Fabric”.
Very good condition – clean, vibrant, and intact.
