Ok, I went a bit crazy on the curves of the slabs on this vase. I hope the photos show the beauty that is insane. You may never need to put flowers in it.
The vase is wheel thrown with a dark chocolate brown clay and then I add a white stoneware slab and sculpt it some sexy little curls and then I cut a few holes into the slab so you can put your fresh cut flowers in. The inside is slipped in porcelain. I then glaze the inside and the top with a glossy dusk purple glaze. It's a very soft lavender on this clay.
Measures about: 6”h, 6”d
Here's a different color, but still very sexy. Check it out: http://www.etsy.com/listing/99165237/wild-flower-vase-in-autumn-yellow-and
FAQ - Info:
-My pottery is handmade. Each piece is unique, even if it’s a set.
-All my pottery is dishwasher safe, microwave safe and (non-preheated) oven safe.
-All my pottery is food safe. (No lead is used.)
-I have a No-Questions-Asked return policy.
-Because of the heaviness of the clay and the breakable nature of pottery, my shipping cost are higher than other fine crafts as I need to pack carefully and double box.
-The worst thing you can do with my pottery is not use it. The second worst thing is to drop it on your foot.
-INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I am happy to ship pottery out of the USA, but with the differences in cost in each country and with pottery being heavy to ship, I do not put an international shipping price in my listings . Please convo me with your Country & Postal Code and I will send you a shipping quote.
