"You're not afraid of the dark...are you!?"
You really SHOULD be afraid...you should be VERY afraid. Alexander Scary Berry is a good 27 inches tall...from his burgundy pom-pom on his pointed hat to the red jingle bells on his creepy pointed toes.
This 'wicked' clown can sit or you can hang it up on the wall with it's little hang string in the back.
The face is horrid. Seriously. His head is made of molded rubber and his nose is a pom-pom. It disguises his rotting nose.
His hair is made from Wisconsin sheep. And they are not happy about it, either.
His extreme color is four layers of gathered crepe paper. And nestled in all that paper is a little fake razor blade, just to keep you on your toes.
And his clothing. Let me tell you, they are VERY well made. Even the jacket is fully lined.
They were incredibly time-consuming to make. This doll took me a lot longer to make than my usual clowns, and he's much bigger.
His black and white jacket has a nice polka dot peplum all around and the sleeves have elastic in the sleeves, complete with bias tape casings. And the sleeves go all the way down to the tops of his black hands, which have been painted and waxed to look like leather.
On the front of his jacket, which is black and white checked, there are six 'real bone' skulls that have been hand-stitched into place.
His pants, which are also black and white checked, are short and they are underneath two black and white polka dot side panels that remind me of something Shakespeare would wear. The waist and leg sections have elastic.
The arms, legs, and hat are made of a tiny black and white stripe that hypnotizes a person into submission. They find they can't move once they look at them.
You should have seen what it was like for me to work with this stuff.
His legs are very shapely, as well as his arms.
And his hang tag has tiny clock and axe charms. And there's also an ink stamping of the rubber stamp that inspired me to make this hideous clown in the first place.
As with most of my clowns, I suggest you don't put him in your bedroom. If you do, make sure it's dark enough that you don't see him.
Trust me on this.
I hate clowns, but I'm working through my fears by making clown dolls. I think it's good for me. It keeps the screaming to a minimum. And if they are in boxes and marked to be sold, at least they aren't under my bed mocking me.
.... not anymore.
Please buy this doll so I can get it the hell out of my house.
