Brad Reynolds
owner, maker, designer
In late 2010, artist Brad Reynolds, bought a table saw and set up a woodshop in his basement in Spokane, WA. Inspired by vintage signage and his Northwestern roots, he began experimenting in woodworking and metalworking. The result was his signature arrow light. Since then, he has sold them to the Etsy community, designers, and businesses across the United States. You can also find screen prints and pennants in the Against the Woodgrain shop. All of his work is inspired by the boundaries of wilderness and city.
Prior to the creation of Against the Woodgrain, Brad grew up building forts, climbing trees, and helping his parents with all sorts of creative projects. He studied Landscape Architecture, Screenprinting, and Sculpture at the University of Idaho from 2007-2010. He is currently working 9-5 as a graphic designer at a local print shop.
