I was psyched to use new beads in super vibrant colors.
These sandals are embellished with MYKONOS GREEK ceramic BEADS.
I ordered the beads on etsy which adds more purpose to my work, by knowing I can contribute to the prosperity of other etsy sellers.
These peacock sandals are sprinkled with
- blue, orange and green seed beads
- brighter colors on the painted feathers.
- mykonos ceramic beads in yellow, tangerine, green turquoise and deep purple
You'll receive very similar sandals.
The feathers will be identical to what you see here.
For these barefoot sandals I used a pair of my hand crafted clay feather pendants as a centerpiece.
I hand painted them in cobalt blue, shades of green, purple, orange and yellow oxide.
Each pendant is thoroughly coated with a satin glaze for protection.
The glaze has a slightly cracked patina.
A polished brown hemp cord was used to make a loop for the big and third toe.
Those toe loops stabilize the large pendants to wear the sandals with as much comfort as possible.
It's hand crocheted for endurance.
The crocheted ankle lace allows you to adjust the sandals to your foot size.
The sandals wear great with flip flops, high heels, or any kind of shoes that have enough opening on top of the foot.
!!!!! The turnaround is currently about 7-10 days-depends how busy I get with other orders. !!!!!
