The print is an archival Giclee print, produced by this artist, using an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 printer, using Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks. The quality of the prints produced by this printer must be seen to be believed. The print is good -- will not fade -- for more than 100 years, according to the manufacturer. The paper used for the print is Rives BFK, a fine smooth acid-free rag paper with a pale cream tone.
The dimensions of the image are approximately 8.5 by 12 inches. The print will have a 2 inch border all around, and will be signed by the artist, with the title and the date.
This art will be shipped via the US Postal Service. I place the print between two acid-free papers, and I then loosely roll it and place it inside a home-made cardboard tube. I put that inside a 6" x 6" square mailing tube. This is a very sturdy package. I have had good luck with this way of packaging, and with the US Postal Service. This method saves on shipping costs, both for me and for the customer.
