(¸.•´ (¸.•` This was a dark, drab, wooden jewelry box, much in need of a feminine touch.
I repainted the box soft lavender and distressed it. Then, I decoupaged the heart with old fashioned catalog paper (backed with oatmeal colored felt) and added 3 oatmeal florets, giving it a very romantic look. I saved the original floral etched glass and mounted the antique paper/felt on it, making the lid convertible (see pix).
The interior is a creamy white.
Perfect size for everyday use. Would make a great gift for Mom, Grandmom, Daughter, Bestie...or just treat yourself :)
Comes from a smoke free environment.
